Director's Message

Dear Colleagues,

It is truly fantastic to be back and I’m looking forward to catching up.

My thanks go to the Professors Lan Fu, Cédric Simenel and Ken Baldwin for looking after the School so well over the past 2 months.

The School review is in the final stages of acceptance by the University Executive and is due for public release in March, to coincide with the first School Forum for 2019. As mentioned at the last Forum I believe the Review Committee has returned a very constructive report with something for everyone.

Best of luck with the final stages of ARC submission and preparations for the new teaching term.

This week’s picie is one of my last images from Antarctica, a young Emperor penguin proudly standing proudly in front of Mount Erebus.

Regards,

Tim
