Biography

Bio: Kaushik Gupta is a final-year physics student at IISER Mohali, India, with expertise in experimental and computational physics. As a recipient of the prestigious ANU Future Research Talent Fellowship, he collaborated with Dr. Lindsey Bignell at ANU, focusing on electron avalanche dynamics in Negative Ion Time Projection Chambers. His research utilized advanced tools like ROOT, Garfield++, and COMSOL to model GEM-based avalanche processes, examining electron detachment under various electric fields and pressures.
