Director's Message

Dear Colleagues,

It is a pleasure to congratulate Lauren Bezzina (Nuclear Physics) on her award of the Janet Elspeth Crawford Postgraduate Leadership Prize.  The College of Science awards this prize to recognise a postgraduate student who has demonstrated significant leadership and outstanding academic achievement.

I encourage all staff and HDR students to attend the CHM/CoS Teaching and Learning Colloquium on the 4th June in the Science Teaching Building (#136). The theme of the Colloquium is Interactive Teaching and Student Engagement. There will also be an associated workshop on “Teaching as Performance”, places are limited so please register here asap

Those considering seeking promotion this year are requested to follow the CoS CV template (here) for their submission.

Today’s picture illustrates what Stage 1 might look like from Parkes Way on completion.

Have a good week,

Tim
