Science & Social Impact: Cutting-edge mciro-plasma systems safeguarding more than a million lives

This talk will highlight how a cutting-edge technology developed by an inter-disciplinary, inter-continental team of physicists and engineers in university research labs has transformed into products to benefit industries and communities across the globe.

Dinesh currently serves as the Director of Eta Purification, a young and innovative deep-technology company based in India. Dinesh holds more than 15 years of professional experience in developing technological solutions for semiconductor and renewable energy industries.  Prior to becoming a technology entrepreneur, Dinesh served as a research fellow at the Department of Electronic Materials Engineering, Research School of Physics & Engineering, Australian National University to support research activities of both national and commercial interest.

Dinesh founded Eta Purification in the year 2016 to utilize innovative micro-plasma technology for the betterment of the society using green principles. Supported by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (US-EPA) and backed by more than 15 years of R&D, Eta Purification’s plasma technology is making both social and commercial impact in industries, institutions and communities, alike. For the impact it has created in infection control in healthcare industry, Eta Purification was recently recognized as one of the 10 innovative companies to provide advanced technological solutions to safeguard lives by the Government of India.
