Hardware repair

The RSPE School Computer Unit (SCU) can assist in hardware fault diagnoses and repair. If the equipment is still under warranty we can often have issues diagnosed and repaired the next day.

It often makes sense to continue using IT equipment past the end of its warranty period, specially in lab environments. In this case we can help with the diagnosis of hardware faults and suggest the best course of action to get you back up and running. This may be to buy a replacement part or a totally new computer.

In cases of equipment that cannot be easily replaced we can coordinate with the School Electronics Unit for physical repair of existing computer hardware.
