The Plasma Research Laboratory hosts a range of experimental and theoretical research pursuits covering a wide range of areas.

Research activities associated with the H-1 Australian Plasma Fusion Research Facility, include the study of 3D magnetic confinement systems, plasma-surface interactions (with an emphasis on the fusion plasma boundary) and the development of advanced remote sensing systems.

Positron research is centered around both fundamental and applied science, ranging from basic quantum physics to applications in medical science and materials studies.

We also pursue a major spinoff activity in wireless network technology.
