Magnetic and electrics fields are crucial to the stability of a plasma. Polarisation spectroscopy of atomic light emission allows non-perturbative measurements of the magnitude and orientation of these fields and when combined with imaging techniques provide insights into the equilibrium and dynamics of the plasma. The presentation will cover the recent findings of Stark-Zeeman calculations that correct previously published results. The current KSTAR imaging motional Stark effect campaign and plans for upcoming measurements on DIII-D will be discussed. An update on the H-1 ion cyclotron wave imaging and dynamic Stark effect measurements will be presented
