Institute of Plasma Physics and Laser Microfusion (IPPLM) in Warsaw (Poland) was established in 1976 with the main goal to carry out research in the field of plasma physics and nuclear fusion. IPPLM is involved in basic plasma physics studies and their implementation in the area of magnetic confinement fusion, laser fusion and pulsed high power technology.

Since 2005, IPPLM has been coordinating fusion activities in Poland and currently fusion programme is run by 12 Polish research institutes and universities.

Overview, of our achievements in fusion research will be given with focus on the projects performed within the EURATOM/EUROfusion programme. In particular, the work on diagnostics developments (X-ray, gamma ray, neutrons) will be presented and the contribution to the PWI studies will be outlined.

Works within the DEMO project will be presented as well and the main efforts related to plasma modelling in fusion devices will be shortly reported.
