The Energy Change Institute Open Day showcases the latest energy research from ANU and provides a platform for exchanging ideas for ANU researchers, industry, government agencies and other energy stakeholders.
Highlights this year include:
New funding opportunites to support energy research
- Research collaborations with winners of the ACT government reverse auctions, Union Fenosa and CWP Renewables
- New research grants from the ActewAGL / ICON Water ANU endowment fund
- Research opportunites with the Australian-Indonesian Center
The latest state-of-of-the art energy research, focussing on the work of new Energy Change Institute Members including:
- energy storage: battery storage & integration and pumped hydro
- energy investment
- energy security
- diffusion of energy efficient technologies
- biofuels for transport
- ANU solar car development
Presentations will be followed by tours of ANU world-leading energy laboratories or surrounding energy renewables energy facilities
