Physics in-house print service

HP 315 Latex Printer

The Research School of Physics School Computing Unit manages the PhysicsPrint self-service printing solution, which has been deployed across Physics South.

We also provide an in-house print service for jobs that are more demanding or larger than can be achieved with the PhysicsPrint general purpose printers. This service can cater to many non-standard printing needs, such and theses, posters, stickers, pull up banners or booklets.

It may make sense to use an external printing supplier for some jobs, such as very large print runs, overly thick booklets, etc. Please contact us and we can discuss your requirements.

We can print documents of over this thickness, but they will need to be bound elsewhere. The Physics store has a basic plastic comb binding facility for use by members of the school.

Graphic Design and Typesetting

The School Computer Unit can help with graphic design of posters, leaflets and booklets for members of Physics.
