RSPE 3 Minute Thesis Competition 2018 and student lunch

The Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) international research student competition is on again for 2018 and The Australian National University is currently preparing for the School and College heats followed by the ANU final. This event is for higher degree research students to showcase their research. We encourage student participation from all departments.

The 3MT is an academic competition that challenges research PhD students to describe their research in plain language within three minutes to a general audience, with only a single PowerPoint slide. 3MT celebrates the discoveries made by research students and encourages their skill in communicating the importance of research to the broader community.

When   11.00am Wednesday 25 July 2018

The School heat will be followed by a College heat on 21 August 2018 ready for the ANU final on 12 September 2018.

Where  Finkel Theatre, Building 131, John Curtin School of Medical Research, 131 Garran Road

Please ensure you register to participate by Wednesday 18 July 2018 to RSPE Student Administration
