Dear Colleagues,

The call is now out for the Frontiers .  It’s likely we will need to finesse the review process as we go, but I will keep you posted after the next HoDs meeting.  Over the next few months we will also refresh the Departmental 3-6-9’s .  To help with this discussion in Depts I’ve put together a document that connects PDR’s, 369’s and the various Strategic plans developing across the ANU.  Hopefully you find this helpful, and I’d like to hear your thoughts on how best to link this sea of objectives. Over the next few weeks I'll be passing out the first elements of the initial consultation for our Strategic Plan.  In turn, this will initiate some working parties to focus on specific topics such as staff development.

The beautiful images we’ve been using have been above have largely been stock images from pixabay.com, and hand picked by Tania.  I’d like to open this space to exhibit your beautiful images.  Many of us travel to wonderful places around the world and I suspect we all have our favourite pics.  This is a great way to highlight the diversity of our experiences, so please send in your memorable images (landscape, town, nature, etc) and a short caption.  I'll pick a new one each week.  To kick things off is an image of mine, taken at dawn on Bunga Beach, Mimosa Rocks National Park, NSW.
