Dear Colleagues,

We invite you to a seminar on the ARC and NHMRC Peer Review Process.

  • Who reads your grants?
  • How are these people selected?
  • What makes an assessor pick one grant above another?

Understanding the above questions is a vital component to your grant writing: know your audience.

You will hear about the ARC and NHMRC peer review process and observations from the selection meetings. This will be followed by a Q&A session with experienced applicants and panellists: Prof John Close (ARC), Associate Professor Ian Cockburn (NHMRC) and Dr Philip Batterham (NHMRC).

Morning tea is provided.

  • Where: CBRN Innovation Network Events Room, Level 5, 1 Moore Street
  • When: 1 December 2016; 10 am – 12 pm
