PEC Artwork Unveiling

Published in the Research School of Physics Event Horizon
Vol42 Issue43 7–11 November 2016

The art piece is by The School of Art's Visiting Artist/Designer Brian Gladwell, who harnesses the properties of waves to generate mesmerising architectural and furniture pieces. Brian works with corrugated cardboard and a laser cutter to generate “Undersampled Wave”, in which profiles have been cut and stacked in sequence from a single pieces of card to generate intricate interference-like patterns in a cornice.

We invite you to the unveiling of this work on Friday 4th November at 6.30PM in the Physics Drop in Centre, bld. 38a.
