This conference (which our School part funded and I helped organise) was an attempt to get biologists, physicists, mathematicians, chemists and materials people to talk to each other about what we have in common and what we don’t understand. There was particularly emphasis on structure in vivo and in vitro. I will give a summary of the papers and discussions that engaged me.
