School technical services

Technical Services provide an extensive support function to many areas of the School. We have a small in-house staff that is able to provide expert assistance in Carpentry/Joinery and Electrical work. We also have access to the many services provided by the ANU Facilities and Services Division.

We are able to provide assistance in the following areas:-

General building problems
Electrical reticulation system
Co-ordination of new building projects
Minor refurbishments
Laboratory safety issues
Hazardous materials
Space requirements
Security - including building access
Cleaning and waste management
Legislative requirements for building services
Emergency systems
Plus lots of other stuff...

If you are experiencing any issues with your laboratory or office, please contact your local Departmental technical officers or administrators in the first instance.

If they are unable to assist please contact Graeme or Lyndell or submit a job directly to the electrician or carpenters.
