Recent developments in detector technology have allowed to get good quality 3D images of low energy nuclear reactions and decays. Some examples will be presented together with analysis methods. Then I will discuss the question if and how eventually a more direct image of the nucleus, comparable to 3D pictures as provided by theoretical models, could be obtained. Scattering of accelerated entangled particles or decay by entangled particles could offer eventually such methods.
