| EME Off the Cuff Seminar Series |
Every second Friday afternoon (see dates below) there will be two informal seminars given by members of the department. Each talk will be fairly short (10-15 mins) with no need to submit or prepare an abstract or a title. After each talk there will be time for questions and discussion so you can ask all those questions that you dont really want to ask at a conference!
The topic of each talk is really up to the individual speakers.. you may wish to give an overview of your work, focus down on a recent result, concentrate on a particular technique or material, present the results of a paper, do a 'dry run' of an upcoming conference presentation, or maybe outline a problem or issue that you are facing. Who knows, you may even find an expert in the audience who can help!
Everyone is the department is encouraged to participate.
Members of EME can nominate themselves here
Time: 3:30 pm (dates listed below)
