Physics of surface waves Suitable for: Honours, PhD/Masters Supervisor: Professor M Shats , Dr H Punzmann Surface waves are studied in laboratory experiment. Waves are excited parametrically in vertically shaken containers. Laser and microwave scattering techniques are used to characterize chaotic wave fields.
