The Research School of Physics and Engineering has an extensive Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) program which aims to provide staff and students with the structures, systems and support to ensure the health, safety and welfare of all people within the school. The School has many and varied potential hazards. These potential hazards must be identified, risk assessed, and appropriate controls implemented. The goal is to eliminate harmful incidents or injury.

The First Aid Coordinator is Belinda Barbour and she can be contacted on 612 54244 or (0) 0404 865 139. A list of all our First Aid Officers may be accessed through the contacts page.
If a hazardous incident or injury occurs, please contact your supervisor immediately or the appropriate person below for assistance.
All Incidents/Exposures MUST be reported within 4 hours via HORUS or ISIS.
